DCLG Directive (Department for Communities and Local Government)

The Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) has instructed all local councils in the UK to check the cladding on any high–rise social housing that they are responsible for, specifically for the particular cladding that was used on the Grenfell Tower refurbishment.

Complete Rope Access Solutions are working with nationwide authorities and housing associations to take samples of cladding materials for subsequent testing. We are accessing the high rise buildings using industrial rope access systems which is a safe and cost effective way to carry out this type of cladding inspection.
Inspecting cladding and taking samples is something that we do regularly in our day to day work.

We are pleased to be able, in some small way, to support the Government’s directive with a view to making social housing safer for all.
