Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations
The scope of this legislation places a duty upon people and any company who own, operate or have control over lifting equipment to carry out statutory Periodic Thorough Examinations. Fall Arrest systems and their component parts fall within the scope of this legislation. Under the legislation the following must be performed:

• 6 Monthly Thorough Examination / Inspection and certification
• 12 Monthly Thorough Examination / Inspection and certification
